TabExplorer is a very light, small, and easy-to-use software application that simply allows you to activate or deactivate tabs on your Windows Explorer. Therefore, it can save you a lot of time, especially if you usually manage many files and folders on different locations simultaneously.

The program's user interface is very clear and self-explanatory. Its main screen allows you to enable or disable the tabs, set whether the application should run automatically with Windows start up or not, and set TabExplorer’s interface to open or not when you run the program. It also installs an icon on the system tray area for you to enable or disable the tabs on Windows Explorer, to run the main interface again, and to close the program right away. The program includes a "touch mode", which is especially useful to work with pads and tablets.

Furthermore, the program also allows you to work in portable mode. It saves all your data and settings in the same folder as the program, thus enabling you to copy the entire folder to a portable device (i.e., a flash memory) so that you can run it anywhere you need to.
